The Pennsylvania State Council of Farm Organizations (PSCFO) in cooperation with the PA Department of Agriculture will be holding a community service seminar on June 1 to inform farmers/agriculture producers about their compliance requirements under the federal Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) as well as tools for risk management.  Held in Tamaqua, It will cover elements of a farm risk management plan which includes food safety, Crop Insurance, and information on what to ask an insurance agent to make sure that farmers’ insurance needs are met.

The seminar will be held on Thursday, June 1, 2017, from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at the Zion Church Social Hall, 489 Valley Road,  Tamaqua, PA 18252.  The community service outreach seminar is free of charge to all who attend.
