PVGA is the organized and common voice of the Pennsylvania vegetable, potato and berry industries that seeks to represent the interests of growers to government officials, Penn State University administrators and general public.

Each year the Board of Directors, with input from membership surveys, identifies the Association’s state legislative priorities and federal legislative priorities.

In addition, the Members adopted the following new policy resolutions for 2021 at the Association’s Annual Meeting on February 17.  The resolutions adopted each year are added to previous year’s policy resolutions to create a document outlining the Association’s position on issues that affect the vegetable, potato and berry industries.

Throughout the year, the Association’s newsletter and email updates keep members informed about current issues so the members can contact their legislators about issues of concern to the industry.

The Association maintains memberships in the following organizations to help it it represent growers’ interests.
