It didn’t take long for a line of more than six vehicles to back up behind a John Deere Corn Planter traveling north on Route 97 on a brisk Wednesday morning. The more-than-40-foot piece of farm equipment made the left turn into Troyer Growers in Waterford without incident, an occurrence state officials gathered at the farm hope will continue as motorists and farmers share the road during the growing and planting season throughout rural areas of Pennsylvania.
