Nine projects aimed at improving the state agriculture industry’s understanding of pressing challenges and promising opportunities will benefit from more than $600,000 in research grants from the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture, Secretary Russell Redding announced.  The projects, which were competitively scored, target key priority areas, such as how to better manage pests, protect crops from diseases, identify beneficial uses of waste products from agricultural production, and increase yields while also improving operational efficiency.  To read more, click here.
