Donald Daum retired in 1995 from Penn State University were he had been an extension agricultural engineer for over 27 years.  He was known to growers across the state for his educational programs on pesticide application technology, pesticide storage, agricultural safety, mechanization of vegetable and fruit production, machinery management, tillage equipment and soil compaction.  A native of Clarion County, he received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in agricultural engineering from Penn State University.  He worked at the University of Illinois for eight years before returning to Penn State.
